Our Auto Body Shop is looking for a Body Man to join our team.

In this position, you repair damage done to the body of our customers vehicles like – cars, SUV’s, trucks, etc. While most of your duties revolve around the body itself, our ideal candidate has some experience working with all the systems in a vehicle. You need good manual dexterity and physical stamina for this job. If you know your stuff, this job offers great opportunity for advancement.

Body Man Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles for damage
• Sanding, buffing, and priming refurbished and repaired surface
• Repair body to factory or customer specifications
• Remove and replace damaged parts with power and hand tools
• Fill cracks and depressions and perform cosmetic repairs
• Fitting, attaching, and welding replacement parts into place

Body Man Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate; certificate or associate degree in automotive body repair preferred
• ASE or I Car certificate preferred
• Welding, auto repair, and painting experience
• A good eye for color mix
