Job Title: Metal Finisher / Polisher

Location: Hobart, IN
Schedule: Full-time / 1st Shift

Overview

The Metal Finisher / Polisher performs machine and hand finishing operations on turbine blades, parts, and related components to achieve surface finish requirements and aesthetically pleasing results that meet project specs and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Polish turbine blades/parts to achieve surface finish requirements and desired aesthetics.
• Select optimal grinding/polishing tools, abrasives, and supplies per requirements.
• Order necessary supplies and maintain clean and safe work area.
• Perform daily and ongoing preventive maintenance on tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on hand polishing with Dynabrade (or similar) tools.
• Quality-focused with strong mechanical aptitude and blueprint reading.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fabrication/welding/industrial environment experience.

Physical Demands

Standing for extended periods, repetitive hand/arm motions, lifting up to 50 lbs. Safety equipment and training provided.
