Plating Manager Job Opening

The Plating Manager is responsible for overseeing and maintaining a fully operational electroplating and immersion plating processes. Plating Manager controls proper baths? chemistry, plating processes and quality requirements, directs housekeeping as well as preventative and restorative maintenance where needed.

The Plating Manager is responsible for supervising the plating operators and ensuring safety and environmental protocols are followed.

• Unload trucks and move parts to proper hold area
• Load trucks with outgoing parts
• Protect parts by shrink wrapping
• Band pallets with correct procedures
• Ensure that shippers are signed by the customer
• Route signed shippers to correct person for billing
• Receive in chemicals from suppliers
• Complete job tracker as black oxide jobs go thru the process
• Take phone calls from black oxide customers
• Production control of black oxide jobs (scheduling)
• Receive and answer emails from black oxide customers
• Ensure travellers are complete before writing up shippers
• Write up shippers and ensure costs are correct before routing to accounting for billing
• Complete black oxide quotes from current and new customers
• Check to make sure that jobs that need price increases are communicated to customers
• 5S/Organize the warehouse
• Pre and post bake customers parts. Including operating oven software
• Operate new ERP system
• Inspect black oxide parts when needed
• Participate in problem solving black oxide jobs
• Ensure chemicals are stored properly (NADCAP REQUIRMENTS)
